Gosh, wouldn't it be nice to have an onsite doctor to field Bi related medical questions in the capacity of say Anne Landers ? Maybe Drew could look into finding us a medical specialist who'll probono a bit to keep our health in top notch shape. Anything from ingrown pube hair to std's. After all Health should be right up there next to sex.

I also think that this is a good idea.
the SF City Clinic has Dr. K but he is rather slow at replying to queries.

lol mmmmm doctor who in the house lol

i think that we can do a lot of the work ourselves..... it would be surprising the level of knowledge that some of us have....lol

without blowing my own trumpet and no I am not a certified medical expert in the secular medical scene..

I have certs and expertise in natural, homeopathic, energy and spiritual forms of healing and illness and medical disorders and amongst my friends ( not at this site ) are 3 medical certified doctors, a nurse that specialises in elderly care ( 20 years + expertise and experience ), the LGBT community health specialist who is also the hospitals std / vd specialist and a few others, lol

I often contact them about peoples issues and enquires on a couple of other sites, and its totally confidential

but the single trouble is that a online diagnosis from any health care specialist is not as good as a face to face visit

Long Dong Duck: LGBT community health specialist ... Generally is what I meant, something like the Anne Landers collumn in syndicated newspapers.

Long Dong Duck: but the single trouble is that a online diagnosis from any health care specialist is not as good as a face to face visit ...
None of which should be construed as liscensed medical advice. One should always check with ones own personal health specialist before applying anything medical from the online community anyway; or so common sense dictates.

Long is right. There are, I am sure, plenty of us on here that, while we may not be medical professionals, can certainly suggest things for minor problems. He's got the naturopath angle. I'm an aromatherapist and herbalist and I'm working on my Master Herbalist certification through ACHS.edu.

As others have said, if there's something serious, seek professional help. But we're pretty good for little things

What about vision? Hell, my eyes could use some care after all the strain they are under from looking at cuties!

I think that would be a good idea if we could find one to be on the site to give answers. I bet CMM could help with the eye's if asked lol
