She is a beautiful little girl who will be 2 shortly after Christmas. She is a frequent visitor to my building as her grandmother babysits. The entire apartment complex thinks of her as our own.

Last night she was home with her mom who was fixing supper. She had a FryDaddy on the counter heated up and ready and turned her back for a second that allowed Kaeylanie to pull the FryDaddy off the counter and get hot oil on her face and body.

Currently in Kosair Children's Hospital with 3rd degree burns to face and shoulder and part of her chest. They have already done some surgery and they have no prognosis as of yet on how bad the scarring will be.

I ask for your prayers for this beautiful young girl and her family as they try to get through this horrible, tragic time in their lives.

Thank you.

Update for now: She was running a 107 fever last night and they are taking bandages off Thursday to see the damage from the burns. They do not yet know if she will scar or not, at least they aren't telling the parents right now.

Hope everything will be okay of course (at least as much as it can be right now).. I am sorry she has to go through this but at least hopefully she is young enough that there is a good chance of healing.

Update: She is burnt on face, ear, chest, back, down her right arm and both legs. If they can take the staples out of her legs when they next do surgery she can come home. I was at my neighbors tonight and there were pictures of her on the wall. This little black angel. She's going to be 2 on January 2nd and never again will she look the same. The still have no idea how bad the scarring will be but they have told the parents there will be scarring.

Just remember, people are beautiful on the inside first.

I am sorry the family has to go through this. Once when I was suffering pretty badly, a very nice lady, who has never had reason to lie to me before told me "everything happens for a reason." We may not fully understand our suffering at the time we go through it but the human spirit is very resilient.

That's not to say that I wish suffering on anyone, but if I hadn't had to deal with being bisexual, I never would've had an open mind. If I hadn't had to deal with abuse I wouldn't be able to comfort the hurting people in my life who have come to me because they had no one else to talk to.

I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Well, they were not able to take the staples out so she remains in the burn unit at Kosair's Children Hospital. They now estimate she will scar over 2/3rds of her body and are talking about more surgeries in the future. So please keep your prayers going for this little girl.

I hope both her and mum come through healthy inside & out. What a nightmare for both it must be. I almost have a panic attack when my daughter comes into the kitchen when I'm making toffee, coz I don't think I could cope if an accident happened, which can be so easy. So am really feeling for the mum there.
They've got my healing thoughts.

Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. She is home now but far from recovered. A long road for this child. A pic to show how much she was burnt and how awesome her smile still is.

This was when her grandma got a wagon at Kosairs and they went to the McDonalds.

Is it legal to put a child's photo on an adult sex site in Kentucky? Even though the child is being presented with bandages, I'm not sure if it is legal to put a child's photo on a sex site in Canada? This is a Canadian adult sex site.

You know I was told you posted a nasty ass troll remark, Tenni. So gee thanks for popping into a thread and not even offering a word of support for someone who was so horribly burnt. Just take your troll like opinions and leave my threads alone.

Well, she who doesn't read what I post but comments..lol It is a legal issue and not a personal attack. If you are foolish enough to post a child's photo on a sex site it shows your poor judgment. For whatever reason you feel compelled to treat this sex site as your personal emoting board I don't know but it is consistent with your drama.

As stated, in Canada this action may considered child porn by the police. This is a Canadian site and although I don't think that it is your intention to create problems for drew, you should stop posting child photos on this site. I hope that your "friends" communicate this to you that this posting child images on this site is not appropriate.

wow, I'm so sorry. This poor little girl will be remembered in our Payers! Thanks GOD she's smiling. I watched my brother dump a frying pan of hot oil down his chest when we were kids but he wasn't 2, he was 7.

She is a very beautiful young lady and based on the great smile on her face, she seems full of joy and energy which will help her get through this. We will continue to pray for her.
