Versatile or Not?

How many of you are eager for anything your partner desires, or do you have specific roles that you maintain? For example, if you're a man, do you insist on being a "top" when you're with another man, or would you do anything for him.

I particularly want to know how you let other guys know what you're into, before things have gone too far, but without ruining things.

I have a tendency to gravitate more toward the submissive, but my sexuality is not the only regard in which I go both ways. I tend to be all about pleasing my lover, regardless of gender but if they want aggression I gladly oblige. A new partner asks, I just keep it simple and say "I'm flexible". Besides, you don't have to have a person figured out right away. The fun, at least for me lies in the challenge of picking someone's brain. That being said, I will answer your question. First, if this is a casual fling type deal you can probably just come right out and ask them what role they like to be in. If it's a budding relationship, well, depends on how approachable the person is and how comfortable you are with them as well as yourself. I mean, I'm perhaps not the best person to answer this for you. I would just go with it and approach this question when the issue of sex comes up in a conversation. I don't know a great deal about finding men. They tend to find me :bigrin:

I guess I am also more submisive but if my partner wants me to top, thats fine. In general, I'll like to make sure both of us enjoy the experience.

But, if you are totally not the "top" type, make it known in the begining. Some guys are exclusively top and like guys that are exclusevely bottom.

a friend of mine that's 100% top lets the men he's with know this, or he'll do sex acts that don't involve the whole top/bottom roles like mutual masturbation.

Me and my fiancee rarely have penetrative sex, so if I was a man being incompatible for that wouldn't be a big deal. I tended to keep it to snogging during one night stands anyway. As for licking I would gladly do or recieve in any private part, man or woman (in my case woman as that's what I'm with). I don't do power roles - I see people as human beings and that's especially important during sexual activity, where parts without care are more at risk. And I also like someone who has respect not just for me but themselves aswell.
