Taz,

Just want to wish you well. I have had my gallbladder removed arthrospcopically. That was the best thing I ever did. The pain from a gallbladder attack was worse than childbirth or back surgury- I've had both.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Best of luck to you. I might have it coming up depending on what the Orthopaedist says, so I can relate ;)

not very long until I go for surgery but so far what I hate is sunday at midnight until after the surgery I can't eat or drink anything :( but I'll also be glad when I'm out of pain like I have been in lately.

Taz *Giant Hugs* I know midnight to whenever seems like along time without substanance, but it is very short compared to how long you have been in pain. And in my goofy way I am telling you it could be lots worse. I had a colonoscopy not that long ago, I had to drink this stuff that made me (how do you say it in a nice way) poor water out of my butt for many hours. Couldn't eat or drink either. Stomach cramps to boot. Ok, I'm just trying to give you a little smile.

Its not much longer now hun. Dream of sweet relief, laughing and smiling a genuine smile, eating and drinking freely without pain.. All that and more is on its way to you. *hugs* My thoughts and prayers are with you hun.

I wish you well and a speedy recovery too... I have had surgeries when I was a kid and I know how awful they can be but just think, you can be bossy to anyone for a few days and make them your slaves *grins*
Ok, thats mean but thats how I got away with not eating gross hospital food and got someone to get me mcdonalds or something lol Oh and Archie Comics... I loved those comics as a kid!

hey everyone just though I'd let you know I'm home already the surgery took an hour and a half to do cause they found scareing on the galbladder plus they said I have galbladder dease all though I'm not really sure what they meant by that but don't have to worry much now since its out of me now.

I got home alittle after 7:30 p.m. and got pain killers to take every 6 hours for the pain.

big hugs to all of ya,
TAZ

P.S. damn I'm sore from surgery lol

hi everyone, today has been the best day for me so far cause my throat isn't sore anymore but I could be in trouble with some of you cause I did some lifting today that I shouldn't be doing but I was careful about doing it though and honestly don't plan on it again cause its starting to catch up with me.

TAZ,

Glad to hear you are doing well and on the road to recovery. Listen to what the doctors say. Doing too much will not be good, learn from my mistakes

Hey everyone,
Its me again and just got home from the ER, everything came out fine with the tests they ran on me. They told me that it was just from it healing up and one of the meds I was taking and stopped that I need to get back on again. Sorry if I had all of you worried tonight about me:( , I should be back in the room soon if any of you need or want to ask me something.

Hi everyone,
I just want to let you know that I've been cleared to go back to doing things that I use to do but also give the stitches 2 more weeks to heal up. I was getting tired of not being able to do anything for awhile:( and now that I've got that problem out of the way now the only pain I have is back pain and not much I can do about that cause of working in a tire store for 5 years straight.

Taz,

Glad to hear everything is coming along nicely. I know it is boring when you are unable to go back to doing the things you liked to do before the surgury. Please do not do too much.
