I went to see the Seattle Men's and Women's Chorus tonight. They consists of LGBT people and it was fantastic. It was an unique experience for little ole Billings, Montana.

It was mostly gay and lesbian. I am guessing more than me as a bi participant, lol. There were a limited number of heteros, it is Montana after all. It was their loss, the concert was excellent. http://www.flyinghouse.org/smc/

I can only imagine how limited the audience was. I used to live in Cody, WY nine yeas ago so I know what kind of cultural vaccume exists up there. I'm glad that things are opening up enough that such a concert could take place.

This sounds very cool and I'm glad you went to support the chorus. It's too bad people can't even go to enjoy entertainment because of a person's sexual preferance. The comic, Elvira Kurt has a great part of her stand up where after nearly 15 mins into her act she announces she is a lesbian and then noticed the reaction of the crowd and says "Oh this is nice. 5 mins ago we were all laughing and having a good time then I mention I'm a lesbian and you're like "Huh?" and you're thinking "If you're a lesbian, and we were laughing at you, does that mean we're gay?...and she says, "yes" Though it's a funny joke, sometimes I think a lot of homophobic people do believe that.
If anyone would like to see Elvira's standup you can view it
