Chris Hadfield returns to Earth tomorrow (Monday) from the International Space Station. He is the first Canadian to be the commander of the International Space Station. He has been quite the entertainer with his music and reports from the space station. He even had a chat with Captain Kurk while up there! He has had an on going twitter account going during the six months. He has dialogue with kids in school. Quite the ambassador for space travel! They did the emergency repairs a few days ago with space walks by two US astronauts!

In this his parting gift to us, he sings "Space Oddity" (Major Tom) by David Bowie. Bowie has given him permission to perform the song. The background is "the tin can" of the Space Station. ;)

Good on ya Chris! Safe return to Earth in the Soyuz in a few hours!

Here is one source as the youtube doesn't seem to have sound (sometimes)?

Here is the video that he created up there. His son edited and produced on Earth while Hadfield must have been able to get the footage shot up there and sent to Earth?

LMAO what passes as a "space program" in Canada as well as the Canadian military (all branches of it) are all total jokes compared to the United States' space program and all of our many branches of the military.

I think it was pretty cool. And if I was David Bowie I would have given my permission to use the song too!!!!!
