Since these are fictional characters in a movie we can assume that they would be monogamous since the woman was monogamous with her ex husband who died, and she just became a nymphomaniac when her ex husband the cop was killed. I thought the movie was OK but I did not like the bad Italian-American stereotypes in it. Bradley Cooper the actor in it is bisexual or even gay and closeted. The media has been falling all over themselves declaring how "hot" Bradley is - he was even PEOPLE's 'Sexiest Man Alive,' but I just don't see it either. I don't think he's ugly, I just think he's rather plain and average-looking. Then again People's "Sexiest man alive" is all about PR and always has been.
