Yu know? I do sympathise with the unfortunate priests. I've had big sweaty hairy Italian men under me shouting "Fuck yeh!", and it didn't half pit me off my Bible study. Poor buggers!

You know being associated with these priests is likely to give gay people a bad reputation again..and we were making such good progress..

You know being associated with these priests is likely to give gay people a bad reputation again..and we were making such good progress.. Last time I checked you are not a gay man or homosexual. Did you even read the article? The gay and bisexual Italian men who go to the baths/sauna there think it's funny that they share the space with the priests. Is anyone actually surprised that the bath house or sauna is near where the priests live? The majority of the priests there are not interested in bisexual or gay adult men since the adult men who go to the sauna are too old for them, but the priests are as we used to say in the late 60s and early/mid 70s "chicken fuckers" or the slang term chicken hawks which is pretty sick and not surprising if you know anything about the Catholic church. The priests who are not ped0s are deeply closeted gay men as the Vatican is the world's biggest closet! Also this is not the 1970s where Anita Bryant tried to claim that gay and bisexual men are ped0s and even in Italy and the United States nobody associates bisexual or gay men with a man that is a ped0.

I saw that story and wanted to laugh. However...

Even if it was an accident, it doesn't speak well of how the Church manages investments that no one knew that they were purchasing apartments in a complex housing Europe's largest bath house. And did you read about the twelve-room apartment? So much for the vow of poverty.

And did you read about the twelve-room apartment? So much for the vow of poverty. The Roman Catholic church knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to money and investments which they have an unfathomable amount of both. It has always been like this.

The GLBT community in Argentina remembers Bergoglio, now Pope Francis, as the man who launched "a war of God" against the move to approve same sex marriage. "He was the visible face of the Catholic Church's opposition to equal marriage and he approached it from a fundamentalist position, posturing that he had to wage a war of God against what he considered a plan of the devil," said Esteban Paulon, president of the Argentine Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transsexuals.http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/18hgfghb9fasejpg/xlarge.jpg
