So I feel that this is a myth. I've gone to public restrooms at ALL times at night (not to have a sexual encounter, but to take a leak). At rest stops, in malls, in airports, at gyms. I've never encountered someone propositioning me, sneaking a peak, or even others engaging in any type of sexual activity. However, I've been to Aldult Book Stores and have seen, and participated in sexual activity.

But this is about mens rooms and what takes place there. Have I missed signals" did I go to the wrong places? What's the edicate and how's it done? I'm asking not because I want to , but because engage in "risky" behavior but because I don't think it can be done without glory holes. To be honest I only had sex once in a bathroom, it was at a club and you could lock the door in the bathroom behind you. Tell me how it happens and if you have had experiences. Frankly I think its a myth and that's why that polition got caught.

Well it might be a myth now a days because of gay bars and singles sites, closeted gays and bisexuals don't have to resort to that kind of thing anymore. But for instance in the early 90's in St. John's, Newfoundland there was a huge police sting operation in which literally dozens if not hundreds of men got arrested for meeting in a bathroom in a mall. The problem is it got so out of hand that people started noticing and once the cops got involved it was a huge embarrassment for most involved since not only did they get prosecuted they also got their name put in the paper. You should watch a movie call "Prick Up Your Ears" it's about gay British playwright Joe Orton. While it is "only" a movie I think that it probably at least tries to portray how some of the more aggressive of these type of homosexual encounters could be and how the police dealt with them at the time. I think that these bathroom sex encounters are not only potentially dangerous to your health, but they are a thing of the past that was born of desperation and I'm glad that gay and bi men don't feel the need to resort to those kind of meeting places.

It's likely less prevalent than in the past. I was on the road for 15 years as a salesman, and had more than my share of offers along the way. I'm sure it does happen, I've never seen it but I've heard about from friends. I understand, especially in the past that same sex couples could not engage in public dating but the idea of doing anything intimate with someone on a urine soaked floor just doesn't appeal to me.
