Technically, Pep, to power dress means one who dresses to display that they have a position of importance in their chosen mode of life, normally business or politics... power dressing isn't exclusive to women. I just happen to think they do it so much better... but I am prejudiced.;):impleased

It can apply to sex also... a friend of mine who is an free lance escort does it often when meeting clients... often like a high powered lady banker or executive (banker I sed, not bonker). Depends what the client expects. I wouldn't normally consider a woman who has been poured into her jeans perfectly as power dressing, but again it depends on why she does and for whom I suppose...

64 ounces of water a day we should consume for optimal health, according to the experts.

"Power dressing" to me, Dark, is when an attractive woman looks like she has been poured into her perfectly fitting jeans. ;) :smilies15

63 ounces I consume some days, 64 on others. If it's not water then juice based in water. or decaf tea. Every so often I drink two 24 oz decaf sodas what are Hawaiian Punch Fruit Juicy Red with bubbles added, it is made by Faygo and called Ohana.

She took the babies of unmarried women into her care (for money) and looked after them till they could be found adoptive parents.. she and the man she lived with were arrested when one of the babies she was meant to care for was found dead by some local children. She took all the blame on herself and no charges were brought on the man. She was found guilty of 3 infanticides but it was believed that there were many more. I know of her story because this all happened in the Stockbridge area of the city which I know very well through having lived there for a number of years..

Don't worry. I suspect gasoline will soon be a lot cheaper than 96 cents a gallon, if not free, soon. OPEC keeps drowning the world in oil the U.S. will not compete in oil production, which as I understand things, oil is needed to create gasoline. The U.S. will be fully shut out of the oil market as supply will be so abundant as to destabilize its own value to nil or near nil. That may even effect the price of gold as they are seemingly equals.

Talking of roads, at Perth, join the A94 for the short trip to Scone where can be found the ancient historic coronation site of Scottish kings and a replica of the stone upon which they were crowned, the "original" having been nicked by Edward I of England in 1296 and placed under the coronation chair of English monarchs in Westminster Abbey. It was returned to Scotland in 1996 and now resides beside the Honours of Scotland at Edinburgh Castle.

Is it truly the original? No 1 knows...

(and my apologies, void...maybe 78 was when I *saw* Star Wars? our theater did not always get first-run movies with precise first-run timing)

72 the year I was born. Or maybe the year I rolled off a Florida orange tree into the Atlantic, come out singing "just another running day, easy way, run with me and you too can play!" Depends on if you ask my S.E.A.L buddy, who did in fact save me from a swimming pool while I was an infant. Mom turned her back for a second, I dove in, He come out of his wheelchair and brought me out. Not sure if mom's too sure either, I'm the son that scares her for some odd reason. *chuckles* Think because I'm too much like her.

We had Regal movie houses in Harrisonburg. Somehow I got tipped off Star Wars was 'coming', maybe it was Buck Rogers episode what made mention of it. So, for about three months I drove mom sane and watched for all the trailers, watched for it to come to a theater 'near me'. Yes, I was one of those freaks that as a child waited in line with totally uninterested parents for hours, jumping up and down with anticipation of seeing it on first run in a theater. Gradually grew up thinking of myself as the most revered Jedi, R2-D2. I have since been corrected by the great Yoda master Jedi of all. Says he, robot no, I am. Jedi, wise to robot cunning be I, not robot, better than, human.

It was his first time in her chambers. First too was seeing her, the
Lady of the house. On her torso she wore a bodice which tied up the
front. He counted that laces crossed sixty-eight times.

"I asked if you were slow in the head, or merely lost in seeing the
mistress", she chided. Her face turned away from his eyes now. He
lowered himself to his knees. "Hurry, I need dressed for the ball.
Better ensure I look ever ravishing lest you get punished", she said.

He stood and went to her with some expediency. His fingers decided on
a holiday as he was unlacing the bodice. "Crack", sounded the cat o'
nines on his bare arse. He drew himself inward and to full attention.
"Apologies, mistress I seem to be a bit nervous under pressure", he
said. The nines rested under his chin and guided him to look at her, in
the eyes.

"Relax", she said, sensing the further anxiety her gesture wrought. "The
ball is four hours away. I'm sure you'll be right enough as a consort
by then", her voice betrayed the poker face she wore. He looked away,
reached over and began unlacing her again. For now it seemed to be
easier making his fingers concentrate on the task at hand.

NB: Only a starting fragment. Please don't push for more.
This was just off the cuff, for no reason other than filling

64 different ways I tried to subtly express to a life long friend I was bisexual. His brother picked it up after two hints, his wife merely 'just knew' with only one minor 'tell'. His brother did not care. He and I got on well. One night he asked me for a blow job, then, reconsidered. He figured it out himself, "you don't do that with friends like us, do you?" I confirmed that, suggesting it would create a lot of uneasiness for everyone. After that, we remained good mates. He never really said anything more about me being bisexual. Once in a bit he might have joking suggested I was 'checking out' the guys at the skate rink or bowling alley, but he did this discretely and in good fun. I would laugh and just point to the girls I had been 'checking out', He would chuckle then too.

15 pieces of firewood a day he said he would use. I crib ricked about a two week's run for him. This manner of ricking starts with logs. wedges running in line as so ---> I the next layer runs as so ---> ---- . Each layer has 3 or 4 pieces on it, averaging 4. I go up 12 or 13 layers. This gives a person around three days of firewood in a very compact area, it also allows for good airflow through the wood. The next rick is started with a base opposite the first, as in going ---> ---- and next layer going ---> I. Each rick takes up about 2' sq space per base, each is around 5' high. Learned ricking in this manner from my step dad's dad, he also taught me the olden way of piling wood as the piled wheat piles, 10' high and 9' circular. He used to leave one pile hollowed in the center for us kids to look inside to understand the structure better. One year a pile nearly fell inward. Still worth the risk to have learned something handed from father to son, skip a generation, give it to a half adopted grandson. Paw Paw's father was old world German. Paw Paw taught me all kinds of interesting things about farming, husbandry. Hm, things remembered at odd times.

Done! 197 CXCVII's of cognac it is! (I'm always happy to share. :oh:)

Ok...to be *completely* truthful (perish the thought that I would ever do otherwise!), I did note your 50...and said NO, you can't restart with a *lower* count...there's no bloody point! Twas probably wrong of me. But I've come to terms with the fact that I'm a bad person. So I'm good with it...especially after all that cognac.

Fran, be reasonable with me here! Surely there is a difference between clarifying a rule (even if it's a kind of forced clarification) and flagrantly disregarding a rule.

And there are only 4 rules, not 192.

"Needs more cowbell!"

* storms out of the room to fetch the sacred cow bell, all 189 of them*

NB: Note to ladies, if you have difficulty with subtle seduction, look to what Annika does here. My brain is mush. She could mold it like clay. A simple gesture, writing about tracing a finger along something, even merely an idea of something and she ensnares. Nicely done. :) :oh::love87:

Why I...well, I can't...are you accusing me of seduction?? Sir, I do protest (though not too loudly). I was merely aiming to incorporate surrealism and dada. This must be the 188th accusation of seduction I've encountered since I've been a member here and...hmmm...I suppose there could be a lesson in that. Perhaps I should examine that.

On the other hand, I'm already working on the most recent lesson, to take in positive energy that's offered. Perhaps I should just shut up and take the compliment. :impleased

I see now. You would let me wait in line behind 187 other starving artists? Ah but you do protest. Wonder how many pro's you do test?

'If you look to your left you'll see the stunning portraiture of one Elmis Fuddyduddy, the infamous artist that painted in ribbons of marigolds', the passing curator and museum tour guide explains to Mrs. Fitzgerald's fifth grade class. A light glimmers from behind one the portraits only noticed by the youngster wearing a Bob Marley t-shirt, who peels away his skin to reveal Mr. Roboto in disguise. Everyone flash mobs while singing 'arigato, Mr. Roboto'.

The blind man by the bus stop saw it all. The deaf bag lady can verify his claims as she heard it all. That is not all, a bird sitting in the bush came to a hand. That bird was at once a dodo and the bluebird of happiness. So now you too can own a portion of the Chinese delightful wall. 'Let us have here your scrawl', say the lawyers in passing while shoving a contract in your face.

There's dada as surreal as the sun licking up the splendid moon beams after hours in a run down jazz speak easy during the roaring twenties. You my sweet can do it but you do turn the phrase so evocatively as to fire synapses what trigger impulses and desires set carefully away to avoid being exploited. Would even hazard you know of this Peg many speak about. So, so, naughty. tsk.

Yes it was truly a compliment. Often, difficult to lure me into such a frenzy. May have been the day I had today. Got a Dear John regarding that possible employer. Someone else was likely already c.n.a certified. I was but years ago and elsewhere, would have required re-trained. So, replaced a fuel filter on a truck. Then, helped move another truck. Afterwards, helped load another truck with firewood, unload it. Plus, did our laundry. I was in busy mode all day yet it was a pleasantly relaxing busy mode. Probably got wood on the brain more so than in the crotch. But it's said where the mind goes, body flows. You traipse along so coyly here, hm, gee am I to not enjoy? Paint me purple and call me human. *sighs*

Don't think I have ever actually said as much so openly to you in all this time. Not sure what has the dander so furled. Not sure I care to know. Hopefully, I haven't offended. If so I do apologize. The only excuse I have is recently come to understand a lot of things that brought me stress, no longer need to do that. One thing on that list, an inability to enjoy friends. I keep myself too far distant, from everyone, including myself at times. That is changing.

TL;DR Version:

"Egads! I have it!" I am likely suffer that damnable thing called a mid-life crisis. Although I had thought that was around the age of fifteen for me. If it is a mid-life crisis, watch out. Call the boys in white coats. I'm going sane! Haha! They never make me eat all the skittles(tm). I'll fool them, I'll just go to bed and let the nerve relaxants and Tylenol(tm) knock off knock me out. See how they like those hunky dory pies, filled with silver crows and green cherries. Ha! Let's see them try using the old reverse psychology on the mindless. Hehe, I'll flush them into a toaster oven, bake on 350 for twenty minutes and spin madly about yelling 'Hail, hail, the gang's all here!'

Thinking of it, it does seem possible middle age is settling in and I'm fine with it and it with me. We simply need to court a bit and sit on the porch swing. My, he's one sweet hunk. Got abs so ripped, but her dress is a fine blue like the seas. Yes, I know the TL;DR version. With that he slogged off to the rack.

*sigh* Most of your infractions, dear, have been double-posting, which was clearly prohibited in Rule (3). You tried to get around that by including multiple countdowns in a single post, and I did clarify that that too is against the spirit of the rules/game...this (to me) is more of a clarification than the addition of a rule. And then I also clarified the rule that said the person who gets to 1 gets to choose the new starting value to indicate that the spirit of the game is to raise the starting number each time. I believe these are the only clarifications we've had.

Let me put this in terms I think you'll understand. If you've been (willingly) tied down for an evening of fun, and you manage to slip out of one restraint, is the dom partner not within bounds to add additional restraints to make sure that the spirit of the game (your submission) is ensured? Or must they let you escape, since their initial attempt was insufficient? Is it really preferable that they start with 185 layers of ropes, gags, cuffs, etc. ...I would think the smallest effective number would be preferable.

See, this is exactly the question I was asking myself. And yet I hear you can be so determined as to be unrestrainable! How does one make such a Force of Nature completely helpless? None of which answers the question of why you'd want to escape to begin with.

And then there's the subtext: the domme is in deep doodoo...what are her consequences? Are you such a switch as to turn the tables 182 degrees on her? And would she mind?

Unrestrainable in everyday life as much as possible.. wen it comes 2 nookie, it depends on the sex.. I am not so submissive that every nookie sesh I allow mesel to be restrained.. and now and then I do like to control what is going on... sometimes even play the domme.. more submissive roles are Fran's preference, but we do like a wee change now and then... one of the nicest of wich is wer neither party is partic dominant, and wer the dirty deed(s) just happen as they happen, just consensually an luffliliy..

A domme may dominate the sex.. but just as I can b sed to b more submissive wen it comes 2 sex, a domme, or dom I s'pose, cannot always b sed 2 b the more assertive or dominant in everyday life.. wether they try to b or not, then shud my restraints come loose, unless control and hence absolute restraint is restored pdq, then ther is potential for the domme (or 2 b more precise, usually the sexually more dominant partner since S&M is part of the sex rather than the sex part of the S&M) to be on the receiving end of severe earache.. :impleased
