Lol, too bad they shut it down. I'd love to see something like that happen in the smallish city where I live, but I'm sure it would be shut down almost as quickly.

That the NYC city authorities did this brings to mind another of the late George Carlin's monologues about how our society's contradictory views regarding violence and sex---with it being perfectly legal to see weapons of mass destruction while in many cases it is illegal to sell things like sex toys and "orgasms."

I just realized that I made a typo on my post above----and that I did not correct before I lost the chance to do so----what I meant to say was not "see" weapons of mass destruction but to SELL them---my bad!!

Funny timing on this Peg.........Just last night, a friend who is a truck driver was telling me that his power bill is much higher, when he's on the road.
He said his wife has a plug-in 110V vibrator, that she's had since the '70s. He surmises that she uses it more than usual, when he's gone!
I jokingly asked him if he felt cheated on?
He laughed and said, "No, I just don't like them expensive electricity bills!"

I loved the picture of this event that I saw posted on a blog. There was a wide variety of women lined up....and up front was a rather elderly looking lady. Think we may have discovered her secret to longevity! LOL!
