Oh to be a cat...
I want the freedom to come and go as I please.
To speak and have every command dealt with.
To rule my castle with an iron paw.
But more than anything,
I want to crawl into your lap
And have you pet me while I purr.
To have you scratch my ears and my belly.
To have you snuggle me when i want
And to get off when I bite.
I want to be your "pet".
Pampered and spoiled beyond measure.
Fed, watered and welcome in bed whenever i wish.
Allowed to lie where I please,
Even if that's upon your head.
To be a cat would be a dream.
To be your cat is my wish....

Heehhe thanks guys. But just so you know, I am no cat. Just one who wishes i could be. I am more of a stray dog...

But I am extremely happy right now. I have had writer's block for quite some time. Been looking for some form of inspiration anything. But i couldn't form words. Couldn't write anything. Truth is this was supposed to be a rant about my writer's block, but i as i stared at the screen lazing in my bed. I remembered my friends cat. And how i had simply wanted to be him. Hehhe such a spoiled little thing. And the words just came. Simple, sweet, unrefined, but they were there.

Cats are like people, each have their own personality.

I had a friend, who was the pet of a Siamese cat!

He would run into an open paper bag, at full speed!

If the bathroom door was open, when my friend was in the tub, that damned cat would jump in with him!

I've never seen a cat that liked the water!

He loved a lawn sprinkler, too.

I have 2 lazy fur balls that I often envy.
Their day consists of sleep, wake up to eat and/or drink, bug the human to pet me, use the litter box, bug the human to pet me again, go back to sleep. Repeat every few hours, with the occasional scratching or cleaning of fur with tongue thrown in for good measure.
Must be so difficult to live a a cat with a good owner. lol.
