how to chat on this site

anyone tell me why every time i click on the chat icon i get shuffled off site and cannot get on chat ? am i doing something wrong ?

A few possible reasons: If you are getting on the site via AOL, don't. Use IE or another web browser. Second, if you don't have Java installed (which could be if you have a new computer) install it. If it is installed, go to the java website and check to see if you have the latest version. These are two reasons that I know of.

further... check to make certain that you have allowed popups for "main.bisexual.com".

You can verify the version of Java you are running here: http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

now, some people are reporting that the Java update (1.7.0_01). is not working here (although it is for me), and therefore are downgrading to (1.6.0.30): available here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_jre_32/11227/

be certain to check that you install the correct Java for your operating system (64-bit vs 32-bit).

I will try some of those suggestions also next time I go to the chat room. When using Internet Explorer, I can't enter the chat room, but if I use FireFox, I have no problem...I don't understand why that is, but is how I have remedied the problem when entering chat which I've not done in months now....
