Why is it so hard to find bisexual women or lesbian couples to have fun with in my area?

It is very hard for my husband and I as well to find bi women to get together with. Our area, as well as yours, are more conservative and it would be hard to find people who are openly living as a bisexual or lesbian. Atleast that is what I have deduced. I use to live in the Los Angeles area and out there I knew plenty of people who were out and living bisexual, swinging, lesbian, gay, polyamorous, ect. ect. ect. lifestyles. Since I have moved to New England I have met only one gay may and 2 or 3 lesbians in real life. We have met a few people online who were openly bi online (some of whom we have had fun with), but are not out in real life.

Not knowing your area or even ur country its a lil hard 2 answer that.. but the US seems to be similar to the UK in that the larger towns and cities usually have a pretty thriving scene.. it does vary quite a lot but they are there if u care to search on the net or ur local press for lgbt groups, clubs and lessie and gay bars and events or the classifieds.. be careful with meets cos being a girl and les or bi there are all sorts of weirdos out there.. Rural areas are a good bit more backward but even they are slowly coming along and moving into the 21st century. It is easier for gay and bi women who dont quite suffer the same prejudice as guys but it is still there..

.. we have a saying in this country about buses.. you wait for an hour for one to come along and then 3 or 4 come along at once.. finding playmates its a bit like that.. once u find one, very often that one opens up other avenues and life begins to take off... unfortunately its that bloody hour's wait that is the killer...:(

There are a lot of areas that seem to be "bi-free zones" on the surface but when you get involved with the local nightlife you will find that there are more people looking for the same thing you are. Don't give up, just get out and meet some people.
