Recruiting Bi Men for a Research Survey -- $5 Reward!

Hi all,

I'm a doctoral student in clinical psychology, specializing in research on sexual orientation. My dissertation project is a survey on people's attitudes about sexual and romantic relationships. People of all sexual orientations are invited to participate, but I really, really need to hear from bi men, who are usually really underrepresented in this kind of research. Right now, bi men are only 15 of the 250-odd responses I've received, so I'm trying some targeted recruiting.

Also, there's a $5 Amazon.com gift card in it for every participant!

interesting survey, good questions and thank you for the section where I could share about being bisexual and having a asexual nature, hope it gives you a unique perspective

I wish to recant my earlier misgivings (at least for now)...I emailed them directly and got a response claiming that it takes a few days to get everything processed. I'll comment again if/when I get my gift card.

I think the survey link the student provided is "broke" (one time survey?) which is a shame because if they really want to know what bisexual people think this is a nice place to ask. I wouldn't expect the $5 gift card and to be honest as long as they are aggregating the results (to make each survey anonymous) I would take it anyway.

I seem to remember this scam elsewhere, wish I had remembered it before I took the survey!!! I checked with the other site and yes this was posted there over a year ago...and few/nobody got there promised gift card either!!!
