I posted about me and my ex a few weeks ago and well we finally grew a pair enabling us to tell each other exactly how we felt. Anyway it turns out that neither of us are in love with each other but do love each other. The reason she never said anything was because she was scared of losing me and that I may of kicked off. My reason was because I thought I'd lose her and the kids.
We have both reassured each other that those things will never happen as we are both very good friends. We only stayed together to save the friendship when we should of just told each other a few years ago.
But we both are the happiest we've been in a long time. She's actually seeing someone and well I'm back to my old confident shall I say ;)
That might seem quick if this is the first post you've read but we have not been together for quite a while now. But it's only recently we both decided that enough was enough and we should just be friends and nothing more.
The only thing we do allow is a hug and suits me just fine lol.
Anyway I went out with some friends which I've not done for a long time. Anyway a quite beer whilst watching the football turned into me going to bar where i turned into the Neil that everybody new from years ago the old me. The better me.
I felt something I've not in years and that's confident. My mates couldn't believe what they were seeing. I was there ten minutes got two numbers, danced and sang like a mad man but even the two girls said that thanks to me it was the best night out for a long time. All my mates said the same. The best thing was it was completely unplanned :D
We was only staying out till around 7 but got in at 4.30. And it was a Sunday tut tut lol. X
So yeah everything is finally sorted. I have my life back :)
