Why so many girl on girl scenes in movies and no guys on guys? If theres ever a big movie with a same sex scenario, its always 2 women. Is it cause 2 women dont need to be persuaded to do it, it just comes more natural and easy. I've seen scenes where Elle McPherson and Kate Capshaw have a sex scene and Kate is kissing and sucking on Elles Nipple. Why cant we see 2 big name guys do that? Joan Chen and Anne Heche had a gorgous long romp in "Wild side' where they were rolling on bed touching, kissing, embracing. Why not 2 hot guys? Dont be afraid guys!!!

It seems that bisexual women are more acceptable to our society then bisexual man. In many "adult bookstores" the movies with bisexual women scenes are in with the main movie section while the "bisexual" section is mostly bisexual men scenes. I've even seen stores where any movie with man-to-man sex (even bisexual MMF scenes) are in the Gay section, but they keep bisexual FFM movies in the "straight" section.

I prefer to see two girls making out than two guys making out, and I'm bi.

I'll second NudistHarry... Fem bi's are acceptable and often considered hot by straight guys, especially with the fantasy that they both go for him after their 'show.' But straight men (the predominant porn buyers) don't like to see any MM action.. It grosses them out, attracts or scares them (depending oh what you want to believe lol).. This is even true in swing clubs, bi fems are encouraged, and bi men often discouraged.

So good bi porn, is almost non-existent IMHO. What is available is almost all MMF, usually two gay guys with a girl tossed in (I say that because the girl is often clearly an afterthought and often just a fluffer).

Bi guys get the short end in the status category... so no good bi porn...

Any gender double standard that I've taken advantage of over the years has been more than compensated by the fact that society looks on male bisexuals as creepy, disease-ridden freaks and bisexual women as hot, wonderful, and novel.

I agree with the fact that it mostly girl/girl but that is what sells in the commercial porn industry. If you look around you will find all the bi porn you want and the combination of gender you want.

I prefer amateur bi porn as opposed to the commercial stuff. All the fake sound tracks in the commercial stuff gets old. The amateur stuff is real life and natural. :2cents:

Men think the Girl on Girl action is hot if they are bi or straight and men buy the porn and direct the movies with these scenes. Women don't buy the Male on Male things in the porn shop and they don't do the directing. Tell the women to speak up more out there and there may be some better options.

Tell the women to speak up more???

Interesting. I sort of thought if there would be less closeted bisexuality in the males. They would speak up and demand bi porn and therefore it would be made, like most porn. TO MEET DEMAND.

Patience. We now have "Brokeback Mountain" and more will come with two guys responding to "circumstance". Yes it is a social taboo and a learned response to accept 2 women and not necessarily 2 men. Perhaps another factor is that more men seemed to be turned on by seeing 2 women and not as many women by seeing 2 men.

[QUOTE=niftyshellshock;204881]I prefer to see two girls making out than two guys making out, and I'm bi.[/QUOT I'm w/u on this; I like dick sucking but don't care for the male kissing; know I'm gonna ruffle a lot of feathers w/this opinion; just a quirk I have; sex is as diverse as food preferences; female homosexuality has always been more easily accepted in our society than male; I remember the early Penthouse mags always had a girl/on/girl feature as well as the centerfold; American Pie2; didn't that tap into that double-standard?

My supervisor talks to me a lot about his sex life; here's a paradox; he describes his girlfriend as a sweet girl, Mary Poppins type, but sexually boring w/him, but she likes to watch gay porn;

Since mainstream movies comes out of Hollywood, no big surprise here, they are not allowed to show guys with a hard on,and is that not what we all want to see. Nothing worse then a slack dick in a movie. Even in gay movies, some guys are having a hard time getting it up,,,,,,which begs the question,,,which actor would you like to see naked with a hard on???

For the same reason two girls can dance together at a straight club and guys don't punch them in the face. When I was very young growing up I used to be jealous of women actually because a) they could attract men easily and b) it always seemed like they had things a little easier socially, what with men stupidly thinking they are "weaker". I now know this is a misconception - there are a lot of ways in which women have had their social freedoms curtailed - it's just that I always hated having to be "strong", "never cry", all that stuff that was programmed into me growing up.

The last movie I clearly remember seeing with any frontal male nudity was "Weeds" with Nick Nolte..there is this scene where he tries out for the Prison singing group or whatever and his dick hangs out of a hole in his shorts - it's flopping around as he sings - interesting humor.

..other than that maybe a few seconds in Gladiator or Alexander or some other Ridley Scott movie? They are really few and far between..censors would never allow it - and straight men want to see "lesbian" action - not two guys kissing. I don't mind two guys kissing if they either look good, or there's some sort of emotional connection portrayed in the movie.

300 - with scenes of the whole damn spartan army had NO male nudity whatsover - and all of the men wore those foam padded trousers that made them look like the HE-MAN and the Masters of the Universe action figures from the 1980's. The only semi-erotic scene I remember in the whole movie involved a stoned sorceress - which is why I maintain that despite having so many half naked men, 300 was actually a movie for hormone soaked horny 18 year old boys hard up for violence, blood and women.

There have been some films in the past with male / male contact, but as most everyone seems to agree , woman /woman is more accepted, to bad as I consider attraction of either sex is "normal" and natural, maybe there will be some films like Caligula and others, until then I guess it's hard core porn for watchingreal or nearly real man/ man.

To return to the original question: could it be because film directors and financiers tend to be straight men?
