One day, I hope, we will live in a nation where another person's sexual expression is no one's business but theirs and their sexual partners. We will be allowed to do whatever we want with whomever we want, as long as what we do is with a consenting adult.
Even if we take pictures and post them online.

Well I agree with the tenor, but Wiener sent pics to someone who he did not have a relationship with, that can be considered sexual assault.. Like walking up to some random person and exposing yourself... That is never acceptable. So I think he should have resigned...

OTOH, the stupid puritanical/religious/confused moralistic attitude here in the states is absurd (kids being charged with kiddi porn for sexting pics of themselves FFS???)

Sex is a HUGE industry here, mostly because it is taboo..

I was about to say as long as the religious right controls it won't change, but I think most of the powers that be are on that bandwagon, for control if nothing else...

Sigh...

That's a joke? Right?
I doubt he chose a random twitter address to send his naked pics to. Or that the conversation didn't lead to it.

I agree that the pressure for him to resign was a sign of just how sexually retarded a society can be. He's (was) a politician! Not a monk!
