The crazy thing with the weather of late----you do have to watch what you ask for-----want rain--you get floods, hail, destructive winds and all that---want sunny, dry and warm---you get hyper heat, drought and massive firestorms. Want snow----it then snows and snows and snows and snows!!!

Whatever you call it----it does seem we are once again entering a time where the weather conditions are no longer moderate---we are entering a phase of going back to the extremes of weather--whatever the source of and reason for that---we have been spoiled in the past few centuries because we have had these moderate climatic conditions---with those moderate conditions allowing our society to develop as it has. Our way of life is going to be hard to maintain in a world where the weather does go to the extremes, but I think we had better get it through our heads that such is the case and just have to hang on for the ride--its probably gonna be a rough one!

It is 5 years since we had a summer and it is getting ridiculous.

Usually spring is nice, but apart from a few weeks in April which promised much, that was a wash out too. After a hard winter, I think we need a break and for the sun to put his hat on and give us a sight of his face for a change. Mid-summers' day is only a few days away and still it's grey skies and damp.

Do I really have to wait till my holidays before I get some sun? From what I gather it hasnt been that great there either which is worrying.
