Anyone besides me ever watched the movie Frida (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frida), with Selma Hayek and Alfred Molina?

It's a good movie, it's colorful and tragic with brushes on motherhood, bisexuality, politics, and the nature of marriage.

She's hotter than the real Frida, but...you can tell she tried really hard.

I'm not all rah-rah about bisexuality, but - - I did like how the film handled it. Plus, I kinda like Julie Taymor's style.

I really liked the film - excellent visuals, great cast and performances, and the script was fairly tight. And yes, the eroticism in the film was pretty nice - always liked Ms. Hayuk (or however she spells her name).

This was a great film, IMO. She did leada tragic life in some respects, and they did show her struggles with her sexuality (and gender.) Along with the issues of dealing with her husband's sexuality (Diego Rivera.)

After watching it I have gained new appreciation for Frida Kahlo's work.

I loved the eroticism, I'm glad I didn't have all the hardships she had.
