And then not all that far from this area--they cannot buy a drop of rain and the land is burning:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42568167/ns/us_news-life/
Both of these events have taken lives, destroyed homes, schools, businesses, etc.
I hope that our members who live in these areas have fared well---at the very least-they and theirs have escaped serious injury or worse---homes can be rebuilt as tough as it is to lose one though!! Lives lost cannot be replaced and damaged bodies heal slowly and leave their marks for years to come.
