Happy St. Patrick's Dayto all. I spend the day making a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner for about 25 of our guys. Not a bite of food left.

Drink too much green beer and you do turn green----it really does tend to make the beer taste bad!!
Actually I had a few Smithwick's Ales along with a nice helping of Shepherd's Pie at a favorite "pub."
The place was rocking with a full house, some Irish music and dancers on hand for entertainment--and what was really nice-- tons of sunshine and it got to the low 70s here today---that is one nice St. Pat's Day for here in this neck of the woods.
I did watch online streaming coverage of the parade from Savannah, Ga---three hours worth----it was around 80 down there today.
I hope that anyone who celebrates it--had a good St. Pat's Day.

No green beer for me, but I would love to have the 70+ warm day and some time off to enjoy it. It did get into the 60's today, but I had to work late into the evening hours. I may make it to Cincinatti at Easter to visit family. I hope the weather is nice.

My brother and a couple of his Irish m8's came round last night and we had a jam singing folk in the music room for an hour or so before the kids went to bed. Gr8 fun.. then they went to the pub leaving us a bottle of cognac for our pleasure... and very nice it was too.. and the the other half of the bottle will still be very nice later on tonight..;)

Jem, considering that Easter is so late this year---I think you have a better than even chance that the weather in Cincy will be at least warm if not also warm and sunny!! It really is something that Easter falls so late this year--the latest it has been since the World War II era---so for most of us it is the latest it has been in our lives.
