I suppose it depends on your conception of true love.

Does it mean that everything magically falls into place and that all the normal human concerns and irritations that affect other relationships don't affect yours? If that's what you mean, then I don't believe in it.

I think no matter how perfect things may be in the honeymoon period, at some point you're going to have to work at things to keep your relationship healthy. It would be nice if that wasn't the case, but as long as you don't have too work too hard, too often and you still find those magical moments of absolute intimacy, then it's probably worth it.
