Showers are good for quick cleaning and don't get me wrong I like showers, I take more showers than I do baths, but theres nothing like soaking in the tub for however long you stand being in the water...It just puts you in a totally different mind state, and your body just feels so much more relaxed after...

have to agree. shower is convenience. bath is luxury. suds aren't vital, but do lure me in. every kink and knot in my body is unkinked and unknotted. i especially love a long bath where your knees don't have to 'pop up'.

to stretch out and lie back between the legs of against someone special is also delightful. to gently rub them, etc. not necessarily sexually, tho we have enjoyed splashing more water on the floor than in the tub.

but for ultimate relaxation, a hot bath is hard to beat. like an inside-out hot water bottle. good stuff.
