i find as i get older that peace comes with acceptance- I appreciate the beauty of the human form, male or female, without desiring it as an object of lust, simply because it is the masterpiece of the Creator- that's why the Tantric path is much more enlightening and beneficial to those men and women with high sex drives- it focuses the energy rather than diffuses it- when we desire someone- same sex or other- what is it we actually desire to experience- their pleasure- our own- both- obviously the more intimate the experience the more enjoyable-

I heartily agree. There are those who think that sex drive diminishes with age, but I believe as you suggest that in fact it diffuses, becomes less genitally focused and more directed to the entire body and spirit together.

I had little awareness of tantric and the sensual and erotic nature of it until I recently discovered someone in my area who does massage with tantric elements. I've always enjoyed massage for the sensuality of it, but this really kicked it up a notch as the experience was amazingly energizing and affirming. I am a nudist, and so I prefer that massage be done when I am nude. I find draping distracting and annoying. Tantric allows for that sort of exposure. I was able to find another person who does full tantric massage not too far from me. I'm having my first experience this week, so your post is very timely for me. I'm looking forward to taking what I learn and bringing tantric elements into my sexual relationships.

The problem with me is that the massage almost always kick starts the libido, and I wind up pouncing on the poor massuse.....lol:rolleyes:
