Oh..I missed the "here" button to read the article. I've read the article. I guess Franco will have to take more roles other than the roles of gaymen and stoners if he doesn't want to be seen as gay and a stoner?...:bigrin:

I doubt that dressing in drag will convince people that he is straight.

I think he wants to be seen as just an actor and a damn skilled one at that... I mean, female actors go about in mens clothes and play gay quite often and no one doubts THEIR sexuality as often if they are seen with male partners in real life. Franco's dated some women in the past, and doesn't seem to be whining as loud as say. . .Tom Cruise.

I personally think he is straight with SOME bi tendencies (I'm sorry, you CANNOT eat the way he did in Spider Man 3 and not see SOME phallic overtones) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD_pVNIcgg0&) Even if he is decidedly straight, I personally think he is well on his way to being a bisexual icon the way Robert Downey Jr. or Christian Bale is in some circles, despite their own hetrosexuality. He's going to be one of the go-to straight actors who can play gay convincingly, much like Downey did in Wonder Boys or Bale did in Velvet Goldmine.
