wow feel much better and going onto my normal self, thanks for the messages. I got out the house, turned off the computer for a couple of weeks and started meeting people. whats weird is that the week after i really felt low, and from some advice from this forum i forced myself out, literally down the road to the coffee shop and ended up talking to this girl, and stayed there for about an hour just chatting with her.. strange thing is, long story short, a few weeks later, we kept in contact and it developed into something quite interesting, and we're kind of an item now, or something, and anyway maybe that's why I'm feeling good...so THANKS

People get too bogged down in their computer and TV. The worst thing I think is 24 hour news.
All it does is make people depressed at all the bad things going on in the world, all the things you can't change.

Glad to see you have a new friend. A little sunlight, fresh air and new faces is all most of us need to get out of a rut.

there is life outside of the computer ?????

Don't believe him, LDD. You're the only human here. The rest of us are actually scripts on the bisexual.com server.

Seriously, though, I took a hiatus from this site for a while because I saw that hanging out here was turning into compulsive behavior and was keeping me from going out and interacting with people here in the flesh. Not good for my social life, my romantic prospects, or my business (any self-employed person living primarily off the tourist market must network constantly.) But in 9 months of life here I have met only two more-or-less openly bisexual people, and the average resident and tourist here is not very intellectual, so I find most conversation here quite unsatisfying.

Actually, one reason I have been here so much lately is that I have been recovering from depression so severe that I gave up on facing the world anyway, and gave myself permission to hole up a bit and let my wounds heal. I am due for another hiatus. Your story is encouraging, dafydd.

Congrats! Good luck in your new relationship with this woman. What is she like?

She's very honest and insightful. She's got a strength that I don't see often these days in men and women. She's abso comfortable about me being bi, even though she's never really considered it herself. I think actually that from her questioning that she finds the idea of me being with other guys hot, although I would *never* offer that to her. I'm a strictly monogamous character. She's tidied up the flat a bit because it was getting to look like a warzone and she's putting a few nice touches around, a vase of flowers, an orchid in the bathroom, etc/. things that remind me there is beauty around. She's pretty wild in bed (I'm sure she would be mortified if she knew i was writing this), but she loves me spooning her and that about ticks all the boxes. You know, I could really get used to this M/F shit!
