This is what I meant (in part) by some bisexual men using this to explore or stoke their fantasies. I didn't mean that to imply only "bi-curious" men...although I see how it could have come off that way. I relate it to myself this way: I am in a monogamous relationship with my (female) partner, but I am bisexual. When we use these kinds of devices, sometimes I am fantasizing about a man; sometimes I am just grooving on being with her and enjoy this sensation associated with her. It definitely takes the edge off my desire to be with a man, though it definitely doesn't eliminate it...she feels similarly, and we both play both roles (*sigh* and no, neither of us has ever been raped or been painfully penetrated before...it's just one more manifestation of loving exchange between two humans). But I wouldn't consider myself bisexual if I didn't also have that desire to be with an actual man...if I just enjoyed these toys with my partner and had no desire for anything else, I'd say I was a lesbian who enjoyed using these toys.
So again, attraction and taste. If all the man wants is penetrative sex with his woman, and he really has no desire to be with a man, I'd say he's a heterosexual male who enjoys being penetrated. If he *wants* sex with men (whether or not being penetrated by a female partner is enough to satisfy him), then I would say he's bisexual.
