I only recently started having sex with other guys about three years ago, so had to learn a lot about many aspects of gay sex. The hardest thing to do for me was cleaning my ass in preparation for anal. Fleet enamas can work, but hate those damned little tubes and it's not really enough liquid to get the job done without refilling with water over and over. My friend has an enema-type thing attached to his shower, and this is the best - stick it up there, flush yourself out a couple times and you're good to go. I do the same thing I got this hot water bottle/enema-bag, and tube (with anal and vaginal nozzles) at Walmart. It's got a hook on one end so I can just hang it on the shower curtain rod. I have found this to be very convenient, since once you insert and open the nozzle the water flows freely because it is gravity fed when hung from the curtain rod.

The thing that I also should mention is that the enema tube has a crimp that you can use to adjust or stop the flow of water, and you should stop the flow and immediately wash it after you use it. Anyhow, I usually fill my anal cavity as full as I can get it with warm water and try to keep it in me for at least 5 minutes or until I absolutely have to empty myself. After that part of it is done, I clean the inside thoroughly with soap and fingers. I insert my fingers as deep into my ass as I can with soap no less than 5 times rinsing it out thoroughly each time. After this, it's done.

hmmm...not sure about that. I don't think it's harmful because years ago, since there were no lubes available as there are today, people used KY jelly and vaseline for lube. As far as I know, it's not harmful but I don't know for certain. I wouldn't think so.

My wife's gynecologist recommends Crisco. It is a vegetable shortening, last longer than most water lubes, does not encourage fungal affection, in the thin layer is more tolerable than other lubricants to taste. What I don't know is whether it effects latex condoms.
