I am new to a lot of this and am wondering about these poppers I hear a lot about. Is this the amyl nitrate i inhaled in the 60"s?
Where can I get some and most important what is it and what does it? What are the dangers?
thanks

They are very chemically similar to Amyl. Both produce a short-acting vasodilation of your blood vessels. Poppers are usually isobutyl nitrite. I did a paper of them while doing my chemistry undergrad degree. They are relatively safe unless you are using them with erectile dysfunction medications; doing so can cause a severe drop in your blood pressure due to the vasodilation. If the 'container' that is your circulator system gets larger then your heart rate must increase in order to maintain a steady blood pressure. If the heart rate can't keep up then pressure drops. The other major side effect is a headache is you use them too frequently in one session. You buy them online or get them in sex shops.
thanks, very informative.
If you want to put that Sh*t in your body, please do so at your own risk...God knows what the health risk are, short term & long term..
I've had three episodes of sudden, unexpected drops in blood pressure and they all resulted in my passing out. One of these episodes may have been related to my taking a generic ED medication similar to Viagra, which works by opening up the blood vessels in a manner similar to the effect provided by poppers. Although it's not clear that this is what triggered my problem, I haven't used the medication recreationally since, and won't be trying poppers anytime soon....
Fortunately, weight loss and a vastly improved lifestyle have combined to vanquish my ED. I'm not as ready-to-go as when I was 19, but it's working pretty well these days.
