    Finding a Partner

Why is it so hard to find a partner to have some fun with? I've been active for many years but need to be discrete. So other than going to a porn store or a gay club, I've found it hard to find a guy with "no strings attached." I'm horny and fun so if you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate them.

    Re: Finding a Partner

Isn't your post contradictory in respect to seeking "no strings attached" and the word "partner"?

I would agree that it is difficult to find a guy interested in more than a one time hook up...period.
Partner suggests an on going get together. That alone is a string...isn't it?

"no strings" attached has lot of interpretations.

    Re: Finding a Partner

    Hi Jimmie,

Yes, It can be hard to find a compatible partner. We are a couple and have a hard time to find a good honest man to live with us. One would think that it would be easy, but it is not. We came to Bisexual website seeking a Bi man...but alas, no luck yet.

We are now considering placing an ad in a vanilla site seeking a "friend"; that may work for you also Jimmy. Then let the friendship develop into something more later. Good luck Jimmie.

    Re: Finding a Partner

Jimmie, I lived in Central Pa for 10 years, and I can attest to the non availability of interesting/ interested bisexual folks. I've been all over the world and can think of nowhere that has had such a small selection of potential bisexual lovers to choose from!

I assume you're ones to vet a potential partner and, if you've got a definite set of criteria for a partner to possess, that, too, can make a selection difficult. However, you're smart to know what you want and strive to find the right piece of the puzzle to complete your situation.

I, too, wondered about the "no strings attached" comment in your post. I'm sure you must have some requirements, you'd want to be known and agreed upon. Surely, you have some rules in mind. Thus, I'd consider them, "strings"!

However, if you settle for less than you want, neither of you will ever be satisfied.

As one, who has enjoyed three poly relationships in the past, I know the wait can be worth it, if you find the one you want.

    Good luck with that!

    Re: Finding a Partner

I went out one nt and ended up chatting with a guy at the bar sitting next to me. Bar was closing so he invited me for a drink at his house. Ended up kissing him in the parking lot. I actually moaned. That's how good it was. We ended up naked and rolled around for an hour. I had so much fun and I saw him on a regular basis for almost 4 years. He was the first guy I was with that was my age.
The other guys were 25 plus years older which I loved.

    Re: Finding a Partner

I started out looking for no strings attached sex. It is now more than 10 years with my present partner. We both treasure our independence. Nevertheless, we depend on each other for so much. So, those strings of attachment just happen and grow stronger with time.

The term "no strings or NSA" refers to random one time blo n goes with the first guy who comes along, way too risky, I refuse those, wont even bother meeting, I just tell them "not interested" A FWB or a regular is nearly impossible to find!

    Re: Finding a Partner

I can tell that we all have our own interpretations of what constitutes a "partner" and what constitutes "no strings". I consider any man or woman I go to bed with to be my "partner", albeit he or she is only my sexual partner. This applies to one-time hookups with women or men and it also applies to people I end up meeting on a regular or semi-regular basis if we really click together and both wish to explore further. I might call such a regular or semi-regular FWB partner a gf, bf or lover even though neither of us seeks to be in love or in a proper exclusive relationship with each other ("no strings"). "No strings" to me connotes that the liaisons are for sex and fun only and that neither "partner" ever expects our meeting/s to be anything more than that no matter how many times we meet.

    Re: Finding a Partner

I should have been more clear but the 'No Strings Attached" for me means no commitment other than getting together to have some fun. Some guys I've been with wanted a little more than the fun and that's something I'm not looking for. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't mean that at all. Did you ever see the movie, "No Strings Attached" with Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher? The film is about two friends who decide to make a pact to have "no strings attached" casual sex without falling in love with each other. That's exactly what I mean and nothing more.

I know what you mean, all debate over terminology aside. I'd like to find the same thing. Your looking for someone to have sex with on a regular basis but if you had to call it off, no hard feelings. Right? From my experience its' going to be just dumb luck to find the right guy. I met a guy a while ago and it was just luck that brought us together. The bars had just closed and I was walking down the street to see fire trucks in front of the adult book store that was fully engulfed. As I stood watching the activity another guy was watching it and we just started talking. The fire was almost out and my new friend asked me if I'd like to come up to his apartment for a drink. It happened to be across the street from the abs. We went up and he told me the booze was in the kitchen. As I was making my drink he got kind of close as if he was trying to see if I liked guys. We went in the living room sat down an talked for a while. Just the typical get to know you kind of stuff. He then got up to make himself another drink and on his way back to his chair as he passed in front of me I stopped him reached under his robe and pulled out his semi erect cock and put it in my mouth. I sucked on it for a few strokes, stopped looked up at him and said "Is this what you were trying to find out?" He nodded and I went back at it till he came in my mouth which I swallowed down. We spent the rest of the weekend having sex and it was great. We met up on a pretty regular basis for about a year till he switched jobs and moved away. I will say I certainly miss that time I had with Bill. So you see it's all about luck and being at the right place at the right time. Good luck.
