Dang Me, Hang Me--another week…..

Damn---another week started and yet again----NO FREAKING CHAT!!!!

What the heck is up with "Drew" and company---I simply do not fathom what they are thinking----someone is dropping a fair amount of bucks down on keeping this site up on servers--or at least probably more accurately-----paying for the bandwidth to send this site out on the web.

You would think that since they are doing that much--they could at least make sure that we do have the chat up and running--no one who has not already upgraded their membership to paying status is going to do so now and those who did become a paid member---are not going to continue doing so with this being the case.

I like Drew--I used to like it when he took an active role in this site and made his posts, made sure that people were relatively civil---took quick action on trolls and spammers.

I do hope that if he is having "health issues" either physically and/or mentally--he is able to recover and get that behind him.

Oh well----just had to blow off a little bit of steam about my frustration that chat is still not running in what I hope is a nicer, milder way than I might have done in the past.

According to his profile, he was just logged on Friday. Not sure why a guy that was so active on this site, suddenly doesn't want to talk anymore.

Anybody live near Drew that can make physical contact with him. Maybe there really is something really wrong with him. It would be a shame if he's suffering somewhere and no one went to check.

Hey ya 12 volt man!!! Good to hear from you. I guess that I really don't visit this site as much as I did back then when I first joined. And it seems that a lot of the other folks that joined back then don't visit here as much as they did after they first joined. For me, it just seems like I just don't have the time to sit at my desk for hours at a time surfing and visiting various websites, and doing things like that. I guess that I'm just more interested in "playing in my workshop", or busy in what I call my playground. Anyway one problem that I had with the "chat room" was that I am such a slow typist that by the time I would get a reply, or comment made about something, that by then the whole conversation would have gone on to something else, or the conversation subject line would have completely changed to another subject and when my comment finally showed up, everybody would say something like "WOW" where did that come from. In other words I was always just too late with my comments. That was my main reason for quitting the chat scene.

Oh well, that's enough for now. I'll type more at you folks later, OK? Your friend, Doggiestyle

Glad to see you Doggie---I know that I had not seen you in many a moon----thanks for posting up on here---if you did not get it--our chat is down again--it has been for several weeks now----we had it back for about a month after being out for a few months the last time it was out---it seems that "Drew and Company" have pretty much abandoned us and we are their "bastard step-child" that they keep living in a closet under the stair case!! lol

That sure seems to be the case, Dog--thanks for checking on that----as I said in that thread----we can count our blessings that we still have the site up and running at all---and let us hope that if "the end is nigh"--they would at least give us some sort of prior warning.

Just got to look on the bright side and hope that Drew and Company, "Get it back together" soon!
