    Peyronie's?

Hello all. I just wondered if any members have suffered from Peyronie's disease? If you don't know what it is, then you haven't had it. However, if you have had it or are currently suffering from it, were you able to "correct" it? Mine developed over the last summer. From what I've read, mine is not as bad as it can be. I can still have intercourse and everything "works" just fine. Receiving oral from my wife isn't as good as it was before but it doesn't "suck" either. However, I would prefer to have my old dick back! It wasn't the dick to end all dicks but I liked it the way it was .....

My urologist suggested a penis extender (yes, Martha there is actually a real use for those things!) to soften/stretch the plaque and remove or lessen the curvature. I haven't bought one yet but probably will. I just wanted to hear from those who have or have had Peyronie's to find out what worked for you, if anything.

    Peace out.

    Re: Peyronie's?

    Hi
I do not know much about this but I did experience a temporary bend in my penis. My dick had always been perfectly straight with no curve at all. After one more aggressive intercourse, I notice shortly after that my erection bent a bit sideway. That had never happened before. It stayed bent a bit to the left for a few months and then it went back to being perfectly straight with no bend. I guess that I was lucky. I recalled seeing a neighbour guy in the sauna of my gym and was surprised to see his dick visibly bent to the left to a near 90o bend while soft. I felt sorry for him but of course didn't ask him about it.

It is good that everything is functioning. I hope that it improves for you.

Thanks Tenni, you are apparently one of the lucky 10 to 12 percent where the problem resolves on its own. I'm going to give it some time before I try anything corrective.

Go to see a doctor or medical professional. A friend of mine had this and they did some sort of surgery to correct it.

I forgot to mention that the bend was about an inch down from the head. It only bent when hard but my neighbour was bent soft as well. My neighbour's was about half way down if not more and as I wrote very very visibly bent. It was bent severe enough for me to wonder (now) if he could pee straight without a lot of bending it..lol I have seen a couple of other slightly bent dicks and lots of banana curve dicks which I don't think is related to this disease. Did your research show that the location of the bend has something to do with curing it? I read somewhere even as boys we can have an accident that causes bleeding inside the penis and leads to this disease in some while others have no memory of a trauma.

Like you, I just waited and it did go away. I guess that I didn't think anything could be done anyway.(never told a doctor before it went away and was not interfering with pleasure..lol)

    Re: Peyronie's?

Thanks Pole_Smoker, I did that. The urologist said that surgery is the last resort since it can actually make the situation worse and cause even more shortening. I didn't start with much so I don't want to make it any shorter!

Tenni, that's more or less where mine is. I think it resulted from some over enthusiastic thrusting on my part when having sex with my wife. I "jammed" my dick and it hurt for a bit but the pain went away. I did start to have some pain a while later when I got hard but didn't make the connection until the curvature showed up. My research has found that the only non-surgical way to "fix" it is to use a penis stretcher for two hours a day for at least three months. That causes the scar tissue or plaque to soften and lengthen. Even my urologist suggested that so ....

    Re: Peyronie's?

My roommate in the Air Force, had a sharply bent cock. It didn't hurt him, but he often had difficulty with intercourse. Being bisexual, he'd been with both males and females. His male partners seemed to have little issue with the way his penis looked, but he had been rejected by a potential female lover, before.

When he saw a urologist, the doctor told him, his penis was bent because of severe pressure he exerted during masturbation. (I can attest to the manner in which he masturbated; he tightly gripped himself and went into a kid of frenzy, while flailing away with himself!) Doc said he could tell if a guy was right, or left-handed, by the way his penis shaft was inclined. The bend first turns from the body, in the direction of the hand used, then curves back toward the opposite side at the end. Doc said that a guy who gently masturbates will normally have a penis that will remain straight. (unless it's damaged in a accident, or during rough sex, or if he actually has Peyronie's)

Having said that, there is a valid diagnosis for Peyronie's disease, which is normally painful. The surgery is also painful and it's my understanding that surgery's not always successful.

    Re: Peyronie's?

thank you for bring this up I wanted to but didn't have the nerve. I came down with this problem around two years ago I've seen one surgeon and ad one at the men's clinic. my dick steal works fine it just looks goofy its a very hard thing to deal with, anyway I didn't want surgery and the cream the dick doctor had me try did nothing I kept searching and searching and came across a product called Neprino NFD I get it direct from Fibromedica Health Solutions, Inc. if you call them and talk to William Marsh he will give you a break in the price he does me anyway. I've been taking this stuff 3 capsules twice a day on an empty stomach and its really working to breakdown the plague in my dick the length is coming back the hour glass shape is getting better its such a relief to find something that works. William told me that using a extender or pump along with the product can help so I ordered an extender and couldn't get it to feel right so I sent it back I'm now looking for a really good picker pump so if anyone know anything about pumps please let me know my email is tripleload@hotmail.com

    Re: Peyronie's?

I saw this thread get resurrected recently, but was rather busy at that moment and missed it the next time I visited (because it got buried under a pile of pole_fucker’s bullshit, irrelevant, porno-themed threads). At the time, I remember thinking that there must be some Ayurvedic Medicine for the condition, and somehow the thought recurred to me this morning.

So, this morning I did some mild Googling and came-up with a few interesting webpages. I have not read them in their entirety, and I cannot recommend or endorse anything written there; but perhaps a properly cautions and duly sceptical sufferer of PD, and his health care providers might find something useful on one of these webpages…. (Some things suggested in these webpages seem like they would be inherently ‘safe’, such as massaging the penis with castor oil, which is edible stuff anyway, so what could go wrong, right?)

    Re: Peyronie's?

Sorry to hear you've developed Peyronie's, BC. Here's a link [ http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/KUDISEAS...ndex.aspx#sec1 ] to what I consider the most authoritative source of reliable and rigorously scientific information on Peyronie's.

I've not had the affliction, myself, but had a male lover, years ago, who developed it probably as a result of an injury sustained in university rugby play. His cock had a gentle but pronounced upward curve, nearly equidistant from the tip and the base. He considered it ugly but I thought it attractively symmetrical. With his particular type of upward curvature, the only problem it caused for us in bed was that the only way I could comfortably suck him was in the 69 position, with him inferior (on the bottom, facing upward) so that his cock naturally followed the relative curvature of my mouth and throat as I went down on him from above. If your curvature is similar to his, you and wife might try that.

I'd also suggest a second opinion from a urologist who specializes in Peyronie's treatment. I note that you're in Ontario, fortunately; some of the best urological research is being done in Canada, these days. Do see your GP for a referral to a second urologist, one who is a Peyronie's specialist.

Good luck, and keep us up to date on your progress.

YES it can make it worse. There are some supplements that can help and have helped with this condition. First, watch your cholesterol and if you need to lose weight, do so. Reason is that the disease is caused by damaged blood vessels in the penis form blunt trauma as you already know but as the penis engorges with blood, all of those little vessels down there need help. Clearing out the junk in your system will help to clean those out. Helping that along try Alpha Lipoic Acid and Acetyl Carnitine. Placebo controlled studies indicated that only Potaba (the prescription version of the B-complex vitamin PABA) and ALCAR (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) treat it successfully. Potaba may decrease plaque size and curvature of the organ while ALCAR may decrease erection pain and inhibit worsening of the condition.
