Ok, didn't read the books but the coming wave that is this movie and it's sequels is going to make millions and put "Mommieporn" on the map. It's an attractive enough storyline, shy wallflower meets billionaire troubled bad boy with control issues. It's romantic, sure, but it's a fantasy about a relationship that is dysfunctional at best. This movie is going to raise many questions, the books are not good BDSM practice, so I doubt there will suddenly a Safe, Sane and Consentual vibe injected into the movie when the book lacked it. If the movie maker has even a lick of sense they'll give directions to an internet link that does promote safe BDSM practice. I hope everyone who sees this movie realizes there are good places to learn safety measures and good BDSM practices out there. I know many will jump on the bandwagon and throw their money into the coffers of the 50 Shades marketing juggernaut. Just invest I good equipment and be responsible, you can get hurt by being naive. I have been a part of this lifestyle for nearly two decades, I know how easy it is to go too far. Be safe, learn first, then play. Have fun and fly your freak flag high, but always be safe first.
