I know from experiences on other adult oriented sites that sending someone a dick pic is not looked upon favourably, especially if women are the recipients of the photo. Sometimes men are more receptive, but I'd rather see the content of the head on your shoulders rather than the colour of the head on your cock. When I look at photos of women, I like to see their whole body, not just their pussy. When I see pictures of men, the whole machine is more important than just the piston.

When choosing a profile pic, I choose something that represents my quirky nature or is simply silly.

To me a profile pic of a penis or a shaved pussy for instance, may look nice and tempting but if the face they are attached to makes children cry and we are meeting anyplace but a dank dark dungeon, then I want to see the face of the person before I say lets meet.

I read profiles and then look at the pics. If I like what they are saying and they seem to have the right personality I don't give a good sh_t what they look like. Personality means everything!!!

I generally read a profile either completely or until I see something that tells me this is not the person I am looking for. A Dick Pic tells me little as I am personally not looking for simply a one time sex partner. A picture that at least gives me at least a general idea of what the person looks like is helpful but frankly I have bypassed more profiles after reading them that after seeing a picture. There are a lot of people out there looking for a lot of different things. I respect everyone but know what I want and will wait for the right person. Obviously there must be some physical attraction and chemistry present but if the person is attractive but not looking for the same thing I stop there. My face is not on my profile picture although I have no problem sharing it with someone after exchanging email and deciding we appear to be looking for the same things. I am very private and it needs to go to that level only if they are a potential match.

Have several pics on profile just to give others an idea of what the bod looks like, but also have lots of profile info about me ( us) written on profile. It seems most of the messages get here and on some other sites if from others who have very limited profile info and no pics and they tend to be ones asking for more pics without sending any themselves and a very brief email message. I think that limits any response they will get for sure.

A profile pic seems to me to send the message you are more of an exhibitionist possibly with a slightly larger ego too? I would agree that there doesn't seem to be a huge difference in who responds. However with all that said I think if you are interested in hooking up with someone you should at least post something so folks get an idea of what you look like. I do have to admit---that at several other websites that I go to--I have posted "cock shots"---doing so did have more to do with what sort of sites those are----they are geared specifically for gay and bi men to meet one another. On here--for anyone who has checked out my profile--it is clear that I have not put a pic of that sort, nor even put up a true "head shot." When it comes to this site---even though I have met and been with others on here and there are some I chat with regularly that I would like to get with----the purpose for me on this site is not necessarily to "hook up" since I really do consider this site to be more of one where I learned about bisexuality, what I want in that way, etc----and it also became more of a community than anything.

I do have to say---I have gotten lots of good response on those sites just putting up those shots--at least as an initial contact--from there--I still go and chat with them over time before we ever meet---and with the way I do things---both here and elsewhere I have met some nice guys and a few ladies too.

On here---people have gotten to know me thanks to me chatting in the "live" room, and putting postings on the main forum board and now the other ways of posting things--so since that works for me here and what works for me at the others---I don't see any reason to change my "modus operandi."
