For those who have a similar problem: Once you are in a chat room, click the wrench in the upper right above the member list. When the menu drops down select Options. There you can select the items you want and don't want using check boxes.
Can/do we have an option to freeze the annoying/distracting moving icons in chat?
What about the option to see more than 5-7 lines at a time?

are you talkin about the private message that opens up if so you can drag it down with your cursor holding the left button on your mouse and moving it to any size to show more lines.Originally Posted by Annika L
