Would I Date A Transgender?
Yes :). I am open-minded to dating a Transman ((female to male)). As long as, he is attracted to lesbians, who doesn't mind being intimate and of course, still have a vagina :). I would love him regardless of how the society may feel about it. Everybody wants to be loved and feel "well" accepted. So, why not try something NEW :oh: ?
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I certainly would not have a problem with that. It is the person that I am dating, the personality, and soul, not the body parts. Of course it helps that I like the male, and female body parts, lol
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I am the same, I have some fantastic trans friends that I would happily date.....one of the only things that would stop me dating some trans people, would be if they were constantly looking for issues where trans people were not treated like people, because it does happen but there is no need to go looking for issues and use them to fuel a self pity mentality....
thats not a trans only aspect, there was some LGBT friends that I would not date for the same reasons, they look for reasons to cry LGBT phobia
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
Yes I would, and I have in the past
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I remember first hearing the 60's song, 'Lola' and thinking how, if I already liked, kissed, and found them attractive and appealing, then why care what sexual parts they have.
I think it was that realization that made me come to more accept my bisexuality in later years. And to now enjoy sex with men, as well as women.
The younger generation has introduced me to a new term, androgynous. Well, maybe not a new word but it is a fairly new fad. I love it! I just love seeing a service worker or cashier and not being able to tell. And, since I think they're cute, not caring which gender they might be. If I were young and single I might just date a lot of androgynous folks and tell them I don't want to know. I'd much prefer letting it be a wonderful surprise if the relationship got to that level.
I read a post once that best described bisexuality for me..., "bisexuality is finally getting into a dates underwear and being happy with whatever you find."
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I've fantasized about them. Dont know if I could date one or be in a serious relationship with one.
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
Yes I would and possible relationship.

If I was attracted to them and we had things in common, absolutely I would.
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
Physically there is no doubt in my mind that I would enjoy being with a transgendered person and have on 3 separate occasions...but to have an ongoing situation would require more. It's the same as I feel about getting involved with a woman. I adore women physically but getting involved requires more. And no doubt were I interested in pursuing an involved relationship with a man, the same would also apply.

I would date a special lady, and treat her just as that a lady
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
yes I would I was just thinking about this same topic this morning
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
Forgot to add: I have an ex coworker who is a lesbian who's girlfriend wants to basically become her boyfriend. I think that would defeat the purpose of her being a lesbian. But she is supporting her 100%. I think that is very sweet and selfless of my coworker. (Dont know if I could do it).
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
Yes, I believe I would date a transgendered person. If they were guy to gal, to me they would be a lady.
A gal to guy would be a gentleman to me.
Could I see myself with a transgendered in a relationship? Yes, quite possibly. It would depend upon
the person, situation.
I do not have any prejudice regarding transgendered folks. Yes, I can admit a bit of ignorance.
I like refering to transgendered folks as butterflies or transformers, and that is the extent
of my ignorance, simply because it is easier for my mind to grasp. Nothing derogatory is meant.
To me people are people, and gray/grey is the only color. You've good and bad in all walks of life.
I do reserve a right to discern that at my own discretion and avoid the bad appropriately. We all
have this reserved right, and there's nothing prejudical in it.
Simply put if someone makes you feel bad, you avoid them. If something causes pain,
we all avoid it. This is basic animal nature, avoid pain, seek pleasure. Human beings
for all their self agrandizing are but animals.

Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I find that I am extremely attracted to Trans-women, even more so then both cis men and women, especially if they still have some masculine traits (like muscles or they are tall) but I have never met any in real life
So yes, I would definitely date them if given the opportunity.
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
Absolutely. In fact, I did, BRIEFLY, date a transguy about a year or so ago. He was nice enough, but he had some issues (nothing too serious, but a longish list of general troubles and malaise that I just didn't have it in me to try and deal with), so we went to a few movies, had a few dinners, but never got physical.Would definitely have no problems dating anybody in the future who was transgendered, in fact, I'm hoping to connect with another transguy via another site in the near future.
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I would love to try to date a transgender whether they are complete or just in transition. But I would be satisfied just knowing and being friends with one and just recognizing them as a person in their own right. My concerns would be if they would be able to relax with me or would be trying to hard to perform a role.
Re: Would I Date A Transgender?
I have to admit to being extremely attracted to transmen to the point that I've watched trans porn for a long time. I also believe that it's my attraction to transmen that reopened my mind to dating women again--I used to date and sleep with women when I was younger. I would also be open to dating a transwomen. However, so many transwomen tend to be ultra femme, which doesn't necessarily appeal to me. Even the cis women that I'm attracted to tend to be more on the butch/baby butch spectrum. I tend to think of my attractions more in terms of being attracted to the masculine and the feminine rather than in terms of being attracted to male or female. I'm certainly attracted to the masculine as it manifests in transmen, cis men and cis women.
