It's summertime and the weather is fine so that means It's time for our Big Annual Bi+ BEACH PARTY at Gunnison Beach at the Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook New Jersey! The time when people from the Bisexual+ and Poly Community(s) and their friends from all over the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area converge for a day of swimming, picnicking, and fun in the sun.

When: Saturday July 15 2017 from 9:00 am till closing (yea it's early, but if you're driving, the parking lots fill up early and the entire island will close until space is available at 1-2pm)

Where: Sandy Hook - Gunnison Beach (the nudity optional beach) aka Parking Lot G
What: Come to the Clothing Optional Beach on Federal Land, Right in the Heart of NJ

Note: Gunnison is a "clothing optional" beach, which means that there will be naked people at the event. However Gunnison is also a "nudity optional" beach, which means that you can wear as much or as little as you'd like! Most important is to Be and Feel Comfortable so that you can have the best time possible.

Who: New York Area Bisexual Network, NYC Bisexual/Non-monosexual & Queer Meetup, NJ Burning Man, NJ's BiZone, Pleasure Salon, Philadelphia Mindful Polyamory Meetup, PolyNJ Meetup, and a whole bunch of other outside of the box groups and people for a day of fun in the sun.

FINDING US ON THE BEACH: Go to parking lot G at Gunnison Beach. Head south along the beach (to the right as you face the ocean). We will be just past the snack hut. Look for Bisexual Pride Flags (pink, purple, and blue). If you are attending and have an obvious flag or structure to add to the description of our gathering, let us know.

EVENT DETAILS This is a radically self reliant event, and don't forget to Pack It Out! Carry in - carry out - leave no trace - so bring your own recycle and trash bag)

ETIQUETTE: The Beach is not sexually oriented in any way. Also please remember it is considered extremely rude to photograph others enjoying themselves at the beach. You should always ask permission to take a photo of someone whether they are clothed or not.

GIFTING: If you are a body painter, henna artist, drummer, expert applier of sunscreen, a hack guitar player, or have other gifts to bring, we want you to represent at this event! Bring extra to share, make a picnic of water and cold grapes, it's all good!

WATER/FOOD/BEVERAGES: Everyone should bring their own water, freeze 1/2 bottle the night before, and then fill it up the day of the event, you'll be fine. There is a snack stand on the beach, so bring cash if you like hot dogs . . . You can also rent Sand Umbrellas from them. And YES, Alcohol IS permitted in plastic containers -- NO GLASS

    OTHER AMENITIES:
    * Bug spray is good sometimes, and sunscreen is a must!
    * 2-3 Water bottles. - It's a great idea to fill a water-bottle 50% and put it in the freezer the night before. Fill it up the rest of the way before you leave.
    * Food & Drink - As of last summer, the snack stand that was once on the beach had not been replaced since Superstorm Sandy. There are sometimes food trucks near the restrooms by the beach entrance that have snacks and basic fare. It's best to bring all you'd like to eat and drink, and maybe some to share for impromptu potluck. You may BYOB, but no glass bottles are allowed.
    * Yes, people do bring tents, but not for overnight camping - the beach closes at dark.
    * No open fires (Sorry, them's the rules.)
    * There's a changing room and dousing showers at the start of the beach,so if you prefer to have a tan line, you can change into your suit at Gunnison Beach.
    * Bathing Suits. - in case you choose to wear one or want to go to a different beach at any time during the day.
    * Sandals. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, then a 10-minute walk across the HOT sand to get to our part of the beach.
    * Trash bag. The beach has a carry in/carry out policy. No trash or recycling receptacles are provided. Leave no trace.
    * Fun! - Have body paints, hula hoops, drums, games, perfect beach party playlist, or anything else you'd like to share? Please do! (Sorry, no floatation devices such as tubes, rafts or surfboards are allowed at the beach.)
