Those Krauts can make suggestive porn out of anything, I suppose out of some extremely weak Brit minds, poor souls

I can see it. The only real question, though, is- can the kids see it?

Methinks not.

Y'know, this moron does not represent the rest of us. Not everyone over here is a sexually repressive twit.

I can see what he's seeing, but honestly, what's the big deal? I bet his kids never even noticed.

Complaint would be in keeping with old British quirk...

(in the 1960's the Children's cartoon series of Captain Pugwash gained infamy for the characters purportedly referred to - Seaman Staines and Master Bates. The author sued successfully although it certainly sounded 'accidentally' rude to me as a child)

....or possibly the development of multicultural Britain.
(here we all are scoffing at the tradtion of modesty Burkhas in the Islamic psyche and they forget that flashing slender ankles and well manicured feet in sparkly sandals under the boring black causes the average foot fetishist a few problems).

Personally I thank goodness that piano legs are no longer covered as they were so as to prevent sexual arousal; these top shelf magazines are just too expensive nowadays.

As for the lemon/lime logo on the Haribo, that can be seen on a number of levels depending on one's persdonal problems. To me it simply looks like the anthropomorphised fruits are enjoying coming together to provide a delicious combination of flavours.

"Coming together, eh! nudge nudge, wink wink - know what I mean?" Now where have I heard that before?

Monty Python's Nudge Nudge sketch the tail end of which goes.....

Man:
Well, you're a man of the world, squire.

Squire:
Yes...

Man:
I mean, you've been around a bit, you know, like, you've, uh... You've 'done it'...

Squire:
What do you mean?

Man:
Well, I mean like,... you've SLEPT, with a lady...

Squire:
Yes...

Man:
(pathetically)
What's it like?

---------------------------------------------------------------
Why the pathetic man above could well have had a name like "Simon Simpkins"

I remember back in the late 80's early 90's, when an air freshner ( can't remember if it was glade or renuzit) had to recall their cans of a certain scent because one of the flowers on the can looked like a vagina.

Also, I reaaalllly liked the other candy one with the character liking the cherry...that's one way to get to the center of the tootsie pop....

I saw it immediately, but then again my mind lives in the gutter. I don't think kids would find it pornographic. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if they do now. Or are very, very confused. I see what he sees, the second one is especially odd, but I doubt that kids see it as that and even if they did, is sex between cartoon fruit candy with no genitals really that bad? I think it's kind of funny actually.

Some years ago there was a huge controversy over the camel on cigarette packs supposedly looking like a penis, it's the same issue with many products over the years, people see what they wanna see, whether it's there or not. 3 people stand together all looking at the clouds, 1 may see a cloud appearing as a certain shape, the other 2 can't see it, same principal. Isn't that part of what makes us all different? I for 1 am happy we aren't all the same.

I posted this thread on this news item---I figured it was sorta funny and it does prove-- we Americans, who are supposed to be so prudish and puritanical, are not the only ones in the world who have people who get their knickers in a bind over something that is really rather silly.
