Has Drew abandoned the site? I can't get him to delete my account and posts, nor can I get him to acknowledge my request. No one is being banned anymore, he's not posting. Did he give up and leave?

Well, he obviously posted kind of recently and banned 2 members. I don't think he has totally abandoned the site, he just isn't as present as he used to be. I am sure there is way more to his life than this site.

Your fundamental problem with getting your account deleted is that you are entertaining. As such, with out your taunting and running commentary, the most popular threads would be allowed to expire and die without further comment. From the conspiracy point of view, I believe that the operating expenses are cover by advertising revenue and not the additional "fan" revenue. In order to keep the revenue going and to ensure the future of the website, viewers are required. Those viewers would likely select the "Three-Pillows" banner at the top and there would be a subsequent payment of anywhere from 1 - 15 cents per click or rerouted traffic. If the conversation is too controversial, then people would not come back to the site and thereby reduce the potential revenue stream. So you can do Drew a favor by assuming the position of creating interesting and entertaining content for others to view, or you can click the above banner and support drew in paying the bills. If I had to guess, you are creating funny and interesting content, while Drugstore Cowboy is masterbating and clicking away at the Thee-Pillows banner in a vigorous manner. From an economical perspective, you cannot point to Drew and say he does not respect or appreciate your presence on this site. In fact, he understands and empathizes with your plight and frustration, but he understands better than you, that you only create an indirect revenue stream, and Drugstore Cowboy is driving direct revenue with each and every stroke!

Like politics, you have to masterbate to the banner more than the other guy.

But mine theory is better and more clever. I'm not so sure you included the part about Drugstore Cowboy masterbating to the banner. I thought that was clever sort of like marching to the drum. You have to be realistic in your theory. While most may not believe that Drew is callously counting his advertising pennies, its fair to say, that Drugstore Cowboy is masterbating the day away on the banners, devoid of any real analysis and reason. May I add that it is not your normal routine porno-lust masterbation, rather, we are talking Drugstore's seedy piss stained, giving a drunken hobo a blow job type masterbation.

Requesting to be banned is absurd. You can ban yourself. You simply tell yourself "I am not going to visit that site any longer", and then keep your promise to yourself. Only a child's mind would come up with the alternative, demand to be banned. But fine, if you need someone to invoke restrictions on you in lieu of character and self discipline, then fine.

As for the 1500+ blog posts of spam today. Grrrrrr. A guy can't even take a day off. This framework software has some serious gaps in its blog spam protections. Not the fault of any of you obviously. All I ask is for your patience. Continue to PM or email me when you see spam as the sooner I am notified the sooner I can jump on it. Thanks everyone for your help and patience on it. I am going to have to have the programmer implement our own custom spam protections soon.

lol I started to say....Where you been, Slip? Drew posts all of the ime. Just because he doesnt get back to you when you want it doesnt mean he isnt doing his job. Its a hell of a tall order to keep a site updated, amintained and keep correspondance flowing smoothly. I know. I used to be part Owner of two groups, and do Moding for another large group.
And if you dont want to be here any longer, use some grey matter and close your account down and dont let the door smack you in the ass on the way out. Its that simple..

Drew you are doing a great job, even though I'm sure it can make your brain want to leak out your ears. Also Drew you have done a great job doing the upgrades here. Just seems like some folks can't quit complaining and whining about every little thing that goes wrong in their life.
